Neighborhood
Living on West 46th Street.
129 West 46th Street sits between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue, in the middle of the Theater District, one block from Times Square. It is the most connected address in Manhattan: six subway stations within a six-minute walk, Grand Central and Penn Station on foot, and most of the city a single train ride away.
The block itself is quieter than its reputation. A church spire closes the view to the west, Broadway houses stand on the far side of Seventh Avenue, and the Diamond District and Little Brazil are on the next blocks over. Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park and the Public Library are a few minutes on foot.

The theaters are on the street.
West 46th Street is a Broadway street. The Lunt-Fontanne and the Richard Rodgers are on the same block west of Seventh Avenue, and the TKTS booth in Duffy Square is one block from the door. For performers and students, that means auditions, rehearsals, classes and the shows themselves are a walk, not a commute.
Restaurant Row is two blocks west for the pre-theater hour. Radio City and Rockefeller Center are a few blocks northeast. And when Times Square is too much, the quiet of Bryant Park is four blocks south.
