Intern housing · Early June to late August
Summer Intern Housing in Midtown Manhattan
The flagship program. Most summer interns land in New York in the first week of June and leave in the second half of August, a ten-to-twelve-week window that fits almost every bank, newsroom, law firm, studio and consultancy in Midtown.

Summer at The 46 is built around the rhythm of a Midtown internship. You arrive with a suitcase and find a furnished room, a made bed, a desk that fits a laptop, a wardrobe with hangers and a bathroom that is yours alone. You do not spend your first Saturday buying a mattress. You walk to Morgan Stanley, Paramount, News Corp, Thomson Reuters or 30 Rockefeller Plaza on Monday morning.
The lounge becomes the building living room in July and August: neighbors from different offices comparing notes, performers back from summer intensives running lines in the study room, a coffee bar that is busiest at 7:30 am. Programming stays light and optional. The neighborhood does the rest: Bryant Park in the evening, the TKTS booth one block west, Restaurant Row two blocks the other way.
Pricing is all-inclusive and we accept program sponsorship. Most summer residents book a 12-week stay, three billing cycles of four weeks. Shorter stays start at four weeks.
